The Reeds breed a mix of Texas Longhorns. These cattle are known for their very lean meat, high protein and low cholesterol. Scott crossbreeds with an Angus base.
Reed cattle receive no hormonal supplements and are grass/hay and grain fed.
Their cattle develop in large pastures rather than mass production feed lots.
Diseases are rare in the Reed herds because of selective cross-breeding. The end result is a high quality beef product.
